Meet The Team

Hafa Adai (Hello) Everyone. I’m Michaella Light Bringer, The OKC Suruhåna & I’m honored to be of service. I relocated to Oklahoma from San Diego & Seattle and have loved my new home in OKC.

I started off in healthcare working at a hospital for 8 years and learned a lot about the “business of sick care” aka our “healthcare system”. I decided to pursue a career in massage therapy and found it rewarding.

I was privileged to learn under Heida Brenneke, a pioneer in starting the massage therapy field, and I graduated from Brenneke School of Massage in 2006 (which later became Cortiva Institute). During my time in Washington state I had the #1 Wellness Center in Des Moines, WA. 

I left Seattle and relocated to Oklahoma. During my journey I realized there was more to wellness than just massage. Along that same time I was reconnecting with some of my roots (Guam). I realized it was part of my calling to carry on the Suruhåna (shaman/natural healer) ways of our people. I also embrace my Spanish heritage and proudly acknowledge my ancestors on all sides.

I have blended my cultural learnings along with the wisdom I’ve learned over the years from many cultures and practices to provide the care I do currently. Always expanding. It is my wish to help serve my community and teach my peers some of my gifts so that we can help raise the vibrations of our future generations; one filled with loving wellness.

Last but not least, I share my heart & voice as a modern day shaman who has utilized storytelling on Blog Talk Radio & now YouTube. To have the conversation that helps make our world a better place along with sharing all things massage, natural healing and what I have learned as a “shaman”.

Joining me when I’m not in on Sundays & Mondays (along with coordinating Couples Massage) is my colleague Jonathan aka Mr. IT & the Founder of Intuitive Touch.

He brings to the table over 20 years experience, graduating in 2004 and studied at Blue Cliff in New Orleans. He’s also a massage instructor and has mentored many great therapists now practicing in the field.
